JOYFUL TRADITION

Many discussions about monarchy in the Netherlands but I think nobody objects that 27 April is an official national holiday to celebrate the birtday of the King (or before the Queen).

I am fascinated to observe joyful atmospheres everywhere. People laugh, sing, dance, drink, eat, walk, repeat. The King's birthday might be accused as an excuse, but it is a good excuse to enjoy life.
